1、 What is autoclaved aerated concrete slab


Autoclaved aerated concrete slab (ALC slab) is a lightweight, porous, and environmentally friendly building material that is mainly made of cement, lime, silica sand, and other raw materials, and is configured with different quantities of anti-corrosion treated steel mesh according to structural requirements. Through high temperature and high pressure, steam curing, and reaction production, autoclaved aerated concrete slabs with porous crystals are produced. Their density is lower than that of general cementitious materials, and they have good fire resistance, fire resistance, sound insulation, thermal insulation, and thermal insulation properties.


2、 Characteristics and advantages of autoclaved aerated concrete slabs


1. Lightweight: With a specific gravity of only 500-650kg/m3, which is only 1/4 of concrete and 1/3 of clay bricks, it is known as concrete that floats on the water surface. The design value is 650kg/m3.
